  • About

This is an ancient recipe for barley matzah, which although easy to make and not unpalatable, produces a solid, heavier cracker than the light wafer that is produced commercially, and bought for the festival. The Israelites would undoubtedly have mixed the flour with just salt and water and cooked the dough outside on hot stones, which gave the same texture, but probably with even less flavour.
