  • About

Cranachan is a traditional Scottish pudding, much like the English trifle. It is usually made with Scottish porridge oats, but rye flakes make a crunchier alternative, which when added with nuts, more like a granola topping. This is a delightful fruit dessert, made all the more enjoyable to make when the apples and blackberries are home grown or picked from the hedgerows.
