Method

For an 8 -inch cake, add the whole Chocolate Sauce recipe made with ¼ cup water. For a 9 -inch cake, make the chocolate sauce with 5 ounces of chocolate and 5 tablespoons of water. Cool the sauce before adding to the buttercream.
