Such a delicacy! The tender blossom of the zucchini plant is just asking to be stuffed, battered, and fried. I like to use a light, tempura-style batter so as not to weigh down the blossoms. My supplier, Dave Irish, is so proud of his zucchini blossoms that he posted a photo of them on Facebook.

Double the filling if the zucchini flowers are large—3 inches (8 cm) or longer.
