Focaccia is a soft flatbread, usually baked in a rectangular shape. At its simplest, focaccia is brushed with oil and sprinkled with coarse salt, although it is not unusual to find it topped with herbs, cheese, and/or vegetables. The topping is typically lighter than for pizza.

This bread turned out soooo well! When it finished we grated fresh garlic clove over the top and arranged fresh mozzarella slices before toasting under the broiler to melt. Delicious!
