Lamb, garlic, spices, and fresh herbs combine perfectly with the salty tang of feta cheese. I’ve been making this recipe since I can’t remember when and it’s always a big hit at barbecues. You can’t beat a homemade burger, and this is a great dish to prepare ahead of time.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 red onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced

Method

  1. Heat the rapeseed oil in a frying pan, add the onion and cook gently over a low heat for 10 minutes or until softened. Add the garlic and cook for another minute. Set aside to cool.
