No self-respecting Middle Eastern table would be complete without a bread of some sort. As these flatbreads don’t contain yeast, they don’t need time to prove so they’re really quick and easy to make. The addition of the yoghurt gives them a lovely chewy texture and a bit of tang.
Place the flour, baking powder, yoghurt, oregano, caraway seeds, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix to form a soft sticky dough.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 1 minute. Divide the dough into two pieces and roll each piece into a circle approximately 5mm thick and 24cm wide.
