I have a small fridge to store all my condiments, sauces and pickles in – almost like a larder cupboard – because they form part of my weekly repertoire, trusted friends I can turn to for any meal. I don’t always have time to cook and versatile chutneys such as this one can be paired with breads or eggs to make a simple supper or a quick sandwich for lunch that never needs to be boring. I also use this as a chutney for my cheeseboard which is a weekly treat!
