A simple way to let your Calvados shine. Pedestals, like in this photo, are optional but fun.
Chill two coupe glasses in the freezer. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the Calvados, Cointreau, and lemon juice. Shake very well until the shaker is almost too cold to hold. Strain into the very chilly coupes. Garnish each glass with a large strip of lemon peel.
