Not unlike the hot apple pies made popular by a huge fast-food chain! You can make your own applesauce for these if you’d rather, but in a hurry, the jars of applesauce from the supermarket will do just fine.

Ingredients

1 packet ready-made puff pastry, approx 325 g
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Method

Roll out your puff pastry to 3 mm thick and, using a ruler, cut it into eight equal-sized rectangles. The easiest way to do this is to cut it in half across the middle, then into four, top to bottom.
