I love the standard-issue Sunday Bloody Mary bolstered with sherry and some celery, but occasionally I want to move left-field and Mexico is the right place. Tequila blanco is a young tequila, under a year old.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon flaked sea salt
  • ½ juicy lime
  • 150 ml ora

Method

Wet the lip of two large, heavy-based tumblers, then turn upside down and press on to a side plate scattered with the salt. The lip of the glass should now be white-rimmed and salted.
