- Put a skinned haddock in a frying-pan in cold water, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Leave it in the same water for 5 minutes.
- Lift out, drain and put it in an oven dish.
- Cover with rashers of bacon.
- Cook it all in the oven till the bacon is done.
