Method
- Melt the lard in a stewpan, and then
- Mix it well into the dough with the hand.
- Add the other ingredients.
- When well mixed place it before the fire in a bread tin, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Then bake in a slow oven for about 1 hour or longer.
