  • Cucumbers 6
  • large onions 1 dozen
  • (root ginger 1

Method

  1. Slice the cucumber and onions.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and let them stand in a deep dish for 3 or 4 days.
  3. Then put in a stewpot in a cool oven for 6 or 8 hours.
  4. Strain it through a hair sieve and measure the juice.
  5. Weigh out 1 oz.<
