- Slice the cucumber and onions.
- Sprinkle with salt and let them stand in a deep dish for 3 or 4 days.
- Then put in a stewpot in a cool oven for 6 or 8 hours.
- Strain it through a hair sieve and measure the juice.
- Weigh out 1 oz.<
