Ingredients
- Ripe tomatoes 1 gallon
- red pepper 5 pods
- salt
Method
- Peel tomatoes.
- Cook with red pepper (chillies) till tender.
- Rub through a hair sieve.
- Stir the salt, pepper and allspice thoroughly into it.
- Add vinegar.
- Boil slowly for 3 or 4 hours.
- Bottle while still warm and cork tightly.
