  • Vegetable marrow

  • flour 1 oz.

Method

  1. Parboil the vegetable marrow.
  2. Cut up some soup vegetables, carrot, turnip, celery, onion, and fry (without browning) for a few minutes.
  3. Melt the butter in a pan and add the flour.
  4. Cook together for a few minutes.
  5. Dilute with boiling white stock.
  6. Add the soup vegetables and marrow cut up.
