  • Dried currants 1 oz.
  • water ½ pint
  • bread-crumbs

Method

  1. Boil the water for a few minutes.
  2. Add the other ingredients and simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Serve in sauce-boat.
  4. For venison or hare use red wine not white.
