  • Dripping
  • onion
  • apple
  • oatmeal
  • currants
  • water

Method

  1. Melt dripping in a frying-pan.
  2. Add onion and apple chopped very small.
  3. Also a few currants.
  4. And a tablespoonful of water.
  5. Scatter in some oatmeal when it boils.
  6. Season with a dash of salt, pepper and sugar.
  7. Fry quickly and serve very hot.
