Method
- Grease a plate.
- Cover it with some good flaky pastry, fairly thick.
- Put in a layer of good fat grated cheese to a depth of about one-eighth inch.
- Grate over that half a Spanish onion.
- Cover that with a layer of small dice of bacon.
- Season with pepper and salt.
- Cover the whole with another layer
