  • good flaky pastry
  • good fat grated cheese
  • Spanish onion (half)
  • bacon
  • pepper and salt

Method

  1. Grease a plate.
  2. Cover it with some good flaky pastry, fairly thick.
  3. Put in a layer of good fat grated cheese to a depth of about one-eighth inch.
  4. Grate over that half a Spanish onion.
  5. Cover that with a layer of small dice of bacon.
  6. Season with pepper and salt.
  7. Cover the whole with another layer
