Method
- Make some puff pastry.
- Divide it into 2 parts.
- Roll each out very thin.
- Spread one piece with jam.
- Cover with the second piece.
- Brush over with a beaten egg.
- Sprinkle with chopped almonds and castor sugar.
- Bake in hot oven.
- Cut into fingers when cold.
