  • Puff pastry
  • jam
  • egg
  • almonds
  • castor sugar.

Method

  1. Make some puff pastry.
  2. Divide it into 2 parts.
  3. Roll each out very thin.
  4. Spread one piece with jam.
  5. Cover with the second piece.
  6. Brush over with a beaten egg.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped almonds and castor sugar.
  8. Bake in hot oven.
  9. Cut into fingers when cold.
