This recipe, which was sent by Mr. M. W. Randolph, has been in the Wyndham family since 1740. It is as good to eat to-day as ever.

Ingredients

  • Sharp apples ¾ lb.
  • sugar to sweeten
  • lemon 1
  • eggs

Method

  1. Bake some apples and obtain ¾ lb. pulp which must be put through a hair sieve.
  2. Add sugar to sweeten, and
