Ingredients

  • Good baking apples
  • mincemeat
  • butter
  • sugar.

Method

  1. Core but do not pare the apples.
  2. Score round the waist.
  3. Set on buttered plate.
  4. Fill with mincemeat, butter and sugar.
  5. Bake in moderate oven; the skin will come off in 2 caps.
