- Raisins stoned 2 lb.
- currants well washed 2 lb.
- sultanas well clean
Method
- Mix all these ingredients, except the brandy and beer, all together in a large pan and leave all night.
- Stir again next day and add brandy and beer.
- The mixture should be stiff and not too moist.
- Place in buttered basins, cover with a piece of buttered paper and tie down with cloths.
- Boil 8 hours for large puddings
