Ingredients

  • Plain flour, suet, currants, potatoes, and carrots, ½ lb. of each
  • moist sugar

Method

  1. Scrape the carrots and peel the potatoes.
  2. Grate them.
  3. Mix with all the other ingredients.
  4. Put into a buttered basin.
  5. Cover with a buttered paper.
  6. Tie up in a cloth and boil as above.
