Ingredients

  • Milk 1½ pint
  • isinglass ¾ oz.
  • yolks of eggs

Method

  1. Line a plain mould with lemon jelly and decorate it with fruit.
  2. Heat the milk and dissolve the isinglass in it.
  3. Beat the yolks of eggs, add them to the milk and isinglass.
  4. Sweeten to taste.
  5. Heat all together until nearly boiling.
  6. Add flavouring. Cool.
  7. When nearly set pour into mould.
