Ingredients

  • Scarlet strawberries 1 pint
  • raspberries 1 pint
  • castor sugar

Method

  1. Bruise the strawberries and raspberries.
  2. Pass them through a hair sieve.
  3. Mix them with the sugar and orange-flower water.
  4. Boil up the cream and stir it till it is cold.
  5. Beat the fruit pulp and the cold cream together.
  6. Stir them till they are well-mixed.
  7. Put the fool into glasses or pile in bowls
