  • Butter 18 oz.
  • castor sugar ¾ lb.

Method

  1. Beat the butter to a cream before the fire.
  2. Add sugar and beat together until quite white and smooth.
  3. Separate the whites from the yolks of the eggs.
  4. Beat the whites to a stiff snow.
  5. Mix both together a little before adding the butter.
  6. Beat them all well together ; then
