  • Butter 2 oz.
  • sugar 2 oz.
  • flour

Method

  1. Prepare cake tin by brushing it over with liquid clarified butter and dusting this with plain flour; give it a knock to distribute it and shake out any that may be loose.
  2. Cream butter.
  3. Add sugar.
  4. Cream both together.
  5. Beat in egg.
  6. Mix flour and chocolate together, and
  7. Sieve in other ingredients.<
