  • Butter 1 lb.
  • eggs 6
  • castor sugar ¾

Method

  1. Cream butter.
  2. Add sugar and cream again.
  3. Sift in flour.
  4. Add seeds, mix well;
  5. Whisk eggs well with wheel whisk, and
  6. Fold into cake.
  7. Whisk altogether with Scotch wire whisk for 10 minutes.
  8. Have ready a tin lined with buttered paper.
  9. Pour in; and
