  • Plain flour 1 lb.
  • butter ½ lb.
  • moist sugar

Method

  1. Rub the butter into the flour.
  2. Mix in the currants (well cleaned and dried) also the sugar and salt.
  3. Mix all well together.
  4. Make into a firm dough with a little milk and water.
  5. Roll out
