Ingredients

  • Rhubarb 7 lb.
  • loaf sugar 7 lb.
  • lemons

Method

  1. Peel and cut the rhubarb into 1 inch pieces.
  2. Put over the fire till the juice is extracted.
  3. Add the sugar; grated peel of the lemons and their juice; and
  4. The almonds blanched and slightly powdered or bruised.
  5. Boil it till
