  • brown sugar 1 lb.
  • butter ¼ lb.

Method

  1. Boil till it sets hard when dropped in water.
  2. Pour in a greased tin.

  1. Put sugar, butter and syrup in saucepan over fire to melt.
  2. When melted add the milk.
  3. Stir till it boils.
  4. Boil 20 minutes.
  5. Pour on tins, brushed with
