Ingredients
- Burnet heads 4 pints
- water 1 gallon
- sugar
Method
- Boil the heads in water for 20 minutes.
- Strain.
- Add sugar and raisins.
- When cool, but not cold, add yeast creamed and dissolved in a little of the wine.
- Let it stand 2 weeks.
- Remove scum as it rises.
- Strain into stone jar.
- When finished working, close down tightly.
