  • Water 1 gallon
  • coltsfoot flowers 2 quarts
  • sugar

Method

  1. Boil the water and pour it on the flowers.
  2. Let them stand 2 or 3 days, stirring each day.
  3. Then strain.
  4. Boil the liquid with the sugar.
  5. Add the juice of the orange and lemon.
