Boil the hops in the water for 2 hours.
Then strain them out.
Add honey or sugar enough to sweeten the liquid.
Pour the mixture into an earthen vessel.
Float a slice of toast on top with a spoonful of brewers’ yeast on it (if you can’t get brewers’ yeast, cream ½
