Ingredients
- Elderberries
1 quart - water
2 quarts - sugar, Lisbon coarse, but not the very coar
Method
- Break the fruit in the water.
- Run the liquor and rub the fruit through a hair sieve.
- To every quart of juice put
¾ lb - Boil the whole ¼ of an hour with the Jamaica pepper, ginger and cloves.
- Pour it into a tub
