Ingredients
- Water 1 gallon
- raisins 5 lb.
- brandy 1
Method
- Pick the raisins from their stalks and pull in two.
- Let them steep in water for a fortnight stirred every day.
- Then pour off the liquor and squeeze the juice out of the raisins.
- Put the liquor into a barrel which will just hold it, for it must be quite full.
- Let it stand open till the wine has done hissing or makin
