MAKE THIS SUNDAE DURING THE SUMMER USING HOME-GROWN STRAWBERRIES. AT OTHER TIMES, SUBSTITUTE SEASONAL FRUIT: GREENGAGES OR PLUMS IN THE AUTUMN; POACHED PEARS OR APPLES IN WINTER; POACHED RHUBARB IN THE SPRING.

  • 500 g strawberries, hulled
  • 4 large (or 7 small sheets) of leaf gelatine

  1. Quarter the strawberries and set aside. For the jelly, soak the gelatine leaves in cold water to cover until softened.
