  • About

A classic, perennial combination comes to life in game-friendly form: grilled steak and onions. All you need now is a pitcher of Manhattans, a potato with the works (in bite-sized form), and your best poker buddies. Sounds like the perfect game night to me!

Ingredients

  • 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch slices
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons

Method

Separate the rings of the onion slices and cut them into 1-inch pieces, saving the smaller centers of the rings for another use. You’ll want 4 to 5 dozen onion pieces. Toss together the onion, vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of the olive oil in a bowl. Set aside for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Soak 12
