  • About

Sangria takes on a lot of different personalities using different wines—traditional red, white, or even rosé—and varying the complementary fruit added to the wine. I’m a big fan of the dry, elegant rosés of summertime, which make a wonderful foundation for refreshing, beautiful sangria.

Ingredients

  • cups fresh watermelon juice (see box)
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle dry rosé wine</

Method

Pour cups of the watermelon juice into an ice cube tray and freeze.

Combine the remaining juice with the wine, brandy, orange slices, and lime slices in a large pitcher, stir to mix, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

To serve, put the watermelon ice cubes in 8 stemless wine glasse
