  • 4 cups okra, chopped
  • 2 cans tomatoes
  • 1 cup

Method

Fry the okra to get slime out. If you don’t know what I mean by this, get some fresh okra, slice it, and put it in a frying pan—it got slime and it need to be deslimified. Add tomatoes, Ro-tel, and fried bacon and seasonings to bacon drippings and deslimed okra. Cook slowly until onions are done, stirring frequently.
