  • 2 lbs. fresh snap beans
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 slices

Method

Snap and clean the beans. Pour the olive oil into a pot big enough to hold all the beans with ease. Put bacon in olive oil and fry until soft, not brown. Add beans, onions, garlic, and wine. Add Lea & Perrins and season with Louisiana hot sauce to taste. Approximately 1 to 2 teaspoons should do. After beans have become tender, salt to taste and cook until done to your taste. Serves 8.
