My maternal grandma, who was from Austria, played a big part in my love for food. I have many fond memories of sitting in her small kitchen and watching her make delicious, hearty, home-cooked Austrian dishes. From apple strudel (she had a special strudel board to stretch out the dough) to the best chicken dumpling soup (perfect food when you’re feeling under the weather). What I remember most of all from my grandma is the food was always supposed to bring people together and be joyful. Tha
