Method

  1. Drizzle the olive oil in a cast-iron skillet and heat over medium heat.
  2. When the oil begins to smoke, add the onions, stir, and cook until they’re translucent, about 3 minutes.
  3. Next, add the beef to the onions. Chop and stir, cooking until crumbly and there’s no pink in sight, 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat and drain most o
