Ingredients

  • 250 g/8 oz hard cheese, grated (e.g. Tyn Grug or Cardigan)
  • ½ Bramley apple, chopped

Method

Place the cheese, chopped apple, sultanas, walnuts, mustard, chives, eggs and salt in a bowl and mix well. Place in the refrigerator and chill until firm.

Cut the sheets of pastry into 15 cm/6 inch
