  • 12 medium lamb shanks

Method

Combine marinade ingredients in large bowl. Place meat in Ziploc bag, pour in marinade, and marinate lamb shanks overnight in refrigerator.

Smoke shanks on oiled grill with hickory, alder, or pecan chips or pellets at 220° to 225° degrees for 4 hours
