Scoop out the seeds from the squash or pumpkins. Place each half, cut-side up, on a piece of heavy foil. Brush the cut sides of the halves with oil. In a medium bowl combine melted butter, brown sugar, nutmeg, allspice, and salt, stir until well blended, and pour into shells. Sprinkle the raisins (or craisins) over halves. Wrap securely in foil, keeping the open side up.
