The “Kiwi” refers to the origin of the recipe, as New Zealanders like to be called Kiwi’s after their national bird. No kiwi fruit is used in this recipe.
Mix all the ingredients in a medium glass or metal bowl. Put any meat or poultry you wish to marinate in a Ziploc bag and add marinade, seal bag and refrigerate overnight.
Drain meat or poultry and cook on your favorite barbecue. Enjoy the finished results with a cold New Zealand Steinlager beer.
