In a medium frying pan, over high heat, fry bacon until it’s crisp, drain and reserve. Remove all but 3 tablespoons of bacon fat from the pan. Sauté onion and green pepper in the remaining fat, over medium heat, until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients, except crisp bacon.
Cover the pan and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Crumble and add the bacon,
