  • About

Depending on where you live you can substitute Walla Walla or Maui onions, or any variety deemed “sweet.” If sweet onions are unavailable, increase the honey by 2 teaspoons.

Ingredients

  • 1 lg. finely chopped Vidalia onion (or Maui, or Walla Walla)
  • 1 cup apple cider vine

Method

In a medium saucepan mix all ingredients together well, and simmer for l0-15 minutes, stirring often. This sauce works especially well with beef but can be used for just about any barbecue meat, poultry, or fish.
